The Hotel Kransberg is situated in Thabazimbi, which nestles in a perfect Bush veldt setting near the famous Kransberg mountains which is part of the Waterberg range, only two hours from Pretoria/Johannesburg. Almost next to the Marakele National Park and the Ben Alberts Nature Reserve. Daily visits can be arranged where the visitors are treated to one of the best areas for bushveldt flora and fauna. Some of the largest colonies of vultures, including the endangered Cape Vulture, nest close by in the Kransberg mountains

Some of the best known and best run game farms in South Africa is situated around Thabazimbi where different types of hunting are catered for, including bow hunting. While the hunters go out in the mornings, we will arrange for the family to be taken on nature reserves or the well known Sun City, witch is only an hours drive from Thabazimbi.

Thabazimbi is a birdwatchers paradise, and there is some beautiful hiking trails in this area.
