GoVertical Backpackers is situated close enough to Johannesburg -Gauteng for all things 'city', but fortunately tucked, far enough away at the foot of the ancient Magaliesberg mountains so that you can relax, unwind from the rigours of travel and savour the magic of the country.

Aside from tranquillity and spectacular mountain views, a swimming pool to wallow in and a pub to soak up rural South African life, we have adventures, hiking trails, guided cultural and historical tours. Pop out to Hartebeespoort Dam, explore the Cradle of Humankind or check out the pastoral scenery from the air. We've got plenty to keep you busy.

The beautiful farm house is the centre of attention; this historical monument set in immaculate gardens, houses the reception, accommodation, gift & gear shop and has an awesome wrap around veranda, perfect for knocking back sundowners.
