Summer Place is set in one of Durban's coastal suburbs. It is situated close to the main access roads, 20 minutes from the airport and 8 minutes from Durban's main beaches and 5 minutes from Umhlanga and boasts a homely and friendly environment.

We have six self contained cottages - Sunshine Cottage, Sundowner Cottage, Sunnyhill Cottage, Sunrise and Sunset Cottage, all have their own separate entrance, fully and tastefully furnished, all kitchens are fitted with fridges, microwaves and stoves, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, linen and towels. All the units have lounges with overhead ceiling fans, televisions and en-suite bathrooms. One of the units sleeps 6 (with 3 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms large lounge & dining room) another sleeps 4 to 6, two of the units sleep 4 to 5 and 2 of the smaller units sleeps 1 or 2 guests. Secure parking.

Browse around Umhlanga Gateway, enjoy a shopping extravaganza and visit the "Valley of the Waves" and the rock face wall climbing.
Game Park safaris are within driving distance. Lynn will arrange your bookings and one could have the chance of spotting one of Africa's Big Five game animals.
Close to Kingsmead Cricket and Kings Park Rugby stadiums. Tickets arranged for matches by prior arrangement.
