Fuchsia Place is situated in peaceful surroundings, on the slopes of the Welgemoed Hills overlooking the Welgemoed Dam and Wetlands. The dam and wetlands is a paradise for bird lovers and very popular with residents to walk their dogs. The path around the dam was recently paved and a permanent watchman is on duty 24 hours to secure the safety of the public. Across the road from the dam is the Majik forest with wonderful walks.
