Our names are Helen and Brian Matthew, and we have the pleasure of living in Cape Town. We are a family managed business, having been established since 1998 and are able to offer you superb accommodation in one of the best locations in Cape Town. Originally from Poole, Dorset we moved to South Africa with our two Boxers in 1991 and have lived in the same house since then. Over the years family and friends have enjoyed visiting us and experiencing our hospitality. So much so, we decided to build the two Cottages on our large plot of land and extend our personal welcome to visitors from far and wide. We are situated just north of Cape Town in a beautiful suburb called Bloubergrant. It is a quiet residential area five minutes from the beach. Visitors need not venture any great distance to experience the many attractions associated with beach life. Up market restaurants, coffee shops, sporting activities to name but a few. Also the cosmopolitan offerings of Cape Town – the ‘Mother City’ Both Cottages are independently situated, with each enjoying its own private garden, BBQ, outside eating area, and secure parking. Each Cottage has its own ‘Honesty Bar’ You will see from the photos that the Cottages are furnished to a high standard and provide for all your needs. The Pool is shared by both Cottages. We have been fortunate over the years to establish an extremely good reputation with Visitors both from this country and overseas. So much so - that many of our bookings are now from ‘friends’ on return visits. Having lived here for all this time we are familiar with the surroundings and able to offer sound advice based and first hand personal knowledge and experience.
